Smartform problem horizontal line overflow

Hi Experts,

I am displaying line item data in main window as shown in attached screen shot.

It is displaying absolutley fine in dev but the problem in quality is the straight line overflows as shown and also some data to next line.

I manually draw the line in text element to draw this line.

but now i am thinking to replace it with sy-uline(250) but i am not sure if it will work in quality or not.

I checked in dev and the line is not overflowing but i am not sure if this will be a right solution as i cannot test in QA without moving the TR

Also i have defined a new para format for this line with font size 5.

Experts: I dont know why this is happening , i have also reduced table width.

Can anyone please give me reason on why this is happening in QA and not in Dev and how can this be corrected?

Replace &sy-uline(110)&

i think it will be work in dev & Qual . before moveing TS to qual test it.

Hi BM,

Check for the printer configurations in both the systems i.e DEv and Quality.

If in d system it is working fine then there is nothing to do with the smartform.

Check with basis team for the printer configurations in q and dev system

Take two different window and assigne frame to 1 window so in that case no need to use the text element for drawing horizontal line and in second window display the data what u want.

in 1 window the header part as per ur scrren shot it may slove ur problem

Check that the smart style associated with the smart form is the latest version in QA.

I am facing similar issue in all the landscape. My issue got resolved by what Sam Rath suggested.

Can anyone please explain why does this happen.

All the window length's are same. I am using box and shading option and drawing a line above the window.

Maybe you have a different font size. Have you checked if smartform style is in the same version in DEV & QAS?

You should try using tables or templates.
