You still can use IDOC framework to create the change pointers, let say when ever the new master data is created the change pointer entry is added. Then you can create ABAP client proxy which reads from the change pointer table (BDCP or BDCP2) and populate the proxy as required by the partner system.

Regards,

Lim...

HI all,

I'm faced with setting up an integration for material master, the end point for this data is a sync web service, ideally I would have the return structure for the WS call populated back into SAP for errors associated with business logic. Currently the MATMAS05 idoc is the standard approach for sending out this data is a there an equivalent PROXY (SAP STANDARD) that could be used to send out this data to use instead of the default IDOC.

Essentially is there a standard proxy that can be used in SAP to replace MATMAS05 or does it need to be developed ?.

Thanks for your time.

Thanks for your input, I was looking for a standard way of doing the same thing, given a choice between sap standard IDOC and custom ABAP proxy ... Ill stick with the standard IDOC.
