transfer file so sftp server

Hello,

I have implemented the functionality to transfer a file to ftp server, but the requirements have changed and now i have to do it with sftp server. Does anybody know if there's a way to implement it wothout using PI?

Any hel would be appreciated.

To my knowledge, the functions/program within SAP do not support secure FTP (SFTP). We ran into the same issue a couple of months ago.

You don't have to use PI, but it can't be accomplished directly from SAP either. In our case we had a script run on a separate server to read the files from SAP application server and copy them to SFTP server.

Maybe you should try FM FTP_CONNECT, on RFC_DESTINATION using 'SAPFTPA' for secure ftp.

Did you try it with the sftp option you mention?
