Same Ztable but different views

Hi Experts,

My requriment is simple , i need create ztable with Material, plant , quantity information.

but users can be create/change in there plants only (not other plant materials).

Suppose material 'A' belongs to only plant XYZ, then users of palnt XYZ only can see the 'A'.

i created one z table and created views for each plant(in selection field i have provided plant value) for displaying perpose it is fine, but to maintain i guess it wont help.

Can any one provide some way..

Hi Murthy,

In Database view if you are using only one table then you can display as well as change the data (But No deletion and Insertion is allowed ) . So do one thing you can create Maintenance view for a single table , this will allow you to perform all the operations. SE11->View->create->Maintenance view.

In the selection condition tab give your condition. With the help of this view enteries can be maintained with SM30. Reply me for any query.
