Screen Enhancement

Hi Everyone,

I have a Qn related to Screens.

I am having a screen(not Selection Screen).When i select a dropdown field in that scree, i need to populate some other fields automatically with default valuess.Please throw some light to acheive this functionality.

Pleae revert for any further info ?

Hi Surya,

When you say screen , i guess you r speaking about Module pool Screen,

Now tell me what you want in Dropdown a set of values or what ?

Couldn't get you properly.

Hello Rohan,

Yes i am refering to Module pool only..I am having 3 fields.One drop down and 2 other fields.

My req is..When i select some non blank value from drop..i need to set the other 2 fields with defaults dynamically .

Hi Surya,

If you have these fields from different tables,then group them and make a table & structure of it and also try to create a search help for that...Now in that structure assign this search help to the field from which you would like to select the values.

Now in the other two fields the values will appear automatically.

Tahnks for your reply..

Three fileds are from the same structure.I want the field one as drop down(not with Search Help).Once a value is selected from Drop down,i need the other two fields to get populated.

FYI ..I have done coding in PoV in flow logic of the screen.It is getting triggered where there is a Search help on that field.

But my requirement is where to write my logic if the field is having a dropdown(Not Search help).Revert for any further info.
