the printing program report sf_example_01 use, to select information, the tables : scustom , sbook and spfli .
I copied this program and I changed it as follow:

data: customers type table of scustom ,
bookings type table of sbook ,
connections type table of spfli .

instead of :

data: customerstype ty_customers,
bookingstype ty_bookings ,
connections type ty_connections.

the program worked and it is possible to print.

however, if I try to change this in the same way in the form, created in copy from the standard one SF_EXAMPLE_01, there is an error message. this change is made in Global setting / Form interface / import tab.

As I know that type is used to make declaration, and why not to created my objects refrering the tables used in select statement.

and what is the logic behind using ty_bookings ,ty_bookings instead of scustom , sbook , spfli .
why this worked well in the program and not in the form .

where did you add this piece of code.

data: customers   type table of  scustom ,
bookings type table of sbook ,
connections type table of spfli .

in smartform, if you want to define tables, you should do it in Form Interface->Tables.

please give screenshot of your defination.

from you screenshot, CUSTOMERS TYPE SCUSTOM, it means this is a sctructure.

as i metioned in above, if you want to declare 1 internal table, please do it in Tables TAB.
