Managing Transport Request.

Hi All,

I want to create different Transport Request for different User for the same object.

Could some one please help me with this, if it is possible.

My requirement is that, if same object is being changed by two or more users then

there changes should be captured in two or more Transport Request, also if first person

moves his request then only his changes should be moved not all the changes of the

object.

If possible please help.

Not possible.

All changes must be inside the same transport request, possibly separated in different tasks under that same request, one task per user.

Release and import to other systems is only possible once all tasks have been released, including all changes to the object made by all users.

Recommended approach is for 2nd changes need to be commented so that the first changes are released and promoted. Then once the 2nd changes are ready for test and promote, remove the commenting create and release 2nd transport

In the scenario of your query, you are failing the very nature of a transport request.

If there are 2 tickets on the same object, please work on the first one, move it to production and then start working on 2nd ticket.

I will not mind writing hectic code or even using some authentic external tool for this purpose.

What you have in mind there denies fundamental principles of the CTS, so again all I can say is: not possible.

Not all requirements make sense.

What is the object that is getting changed? Is it some exit? In case of exit you could insert your include and then release that include so that the exit does not get locked by you and can be worked upon by other developer and you could write your code within the include!
