After Configuring Portal for https , Getting error : Page cannot be displayed in Browser

we configured portal for using https.

now when users access the portal using https they get page cannot be found error.

However if we tick the check box TLS 1.1 in Browser , It works.

All other https sites (public sites) can be accessed without this setting.

are we missing some configuration on web as java server?

so that users can access the portal witout any setting required in their browsers?

Did you ever get a resolution to this, other then checking the box for TLS 1.1?
