Re-adjust Function module Test Data in SE37 after structure change

hi Experts,

SE37 allows to save multiple test data with different names. Even if we do a minor change in structure in Z function module like any input field data type change, all Test Datas which were using this field now cannot be loaded.

Test data cannot be even opened in SE37 and gives an error "Error importing Test Data". Is there a way to re-adjust all Test datas by running some program etc

Like for a very minor change done by me change a field from CHAR to TEXT data type and all my 30+ test data cannot be loaded, any way to just load these test data again and then if function returns error on execution, that should be fine.

Hi Diwakar,

If you change the field and the new field is compatible then SAP is smart enough to auto-adjust the interface.

Also when I changed the importing parameter to a compatible (char1 to char2),

Then we can have out test data as it is.

It gives just an info message.

If it is not adjustible for ex (Char to int), it shows the message just after the activations like

and if these are not convertible then SAP does not allow them to load anyways.

The same is case with BAPI when there is any update the SAP keeps in mind for the compatibility,

thus even after changes out test data for BAPI does not wipes.
