Adding custom field to XK01

Hello Gurus,
I want to add custom field to (Say XTEST) to XK01 on purchasing Data Screen as shown in attached screenshot.
Program - SAPMF02K Screen - 310
I am new to BADI and Enhancements.
Please help me regarding how to do this?

AFAIK there is no offical customer exit/BAdI for this, it will be a modification of standard.

The official BAdI to extend those screen are VENDOR_ADD_DATA and VENDOR_ADD_DATA_CS. (Check the "student info" icon for an idea, and read BAdI documentation, that will create another icon which will display other screen, but will not enable insertion in standard screen, read also Customer view on vendor modification (MK01, XK01...))

If you want to do it the "old way", start with Note 1561889 - New tax number in the vendor/customer master data which add a field to vendor, that will give you an idea of the Customizing table to fill after modifiying the screen (or copying it to your namespace and changing some values of internal SAP Customizing table)

Instead of modifying the standard screen,try to develop a custom screen using the badi and use it.

Hi,

There is badi with one for get and set data.You can use VENDOR_ADD_DATA_CS.if moderators treat as a basic if i start answer about how to use this badi. You start the existing threads else post.

Thanks for you reply.

If I use BADI , I need to add Pushbutton ( refered to link given by Raymond ) and after pressing that I can see custom fields

but my requirement is to add field in Purchasing Data screen only.

I checked whether we can achive the same from enhancement for XK01/XK02/XK03.

I found only Enhancement SAPMF02K but there is no screen exits for in this.

It contain only one function module exits EXIT_SAPMF02K_001 (Vendors: User Exit for Checks prior to Saving).

So I want to ask you is there any way to add this custom field to Purchasing data screen.

Or it is impossible to fulfill this requirement ?

I remember we had to use GuiXT to achieve something similar in Sales Order transactions.

I don’t have any knowledge about GuiXT.

Please explain me in detail what I need to do to add custom field in XK01/XK02/XK03 without using BADI.
