Now, we have to extend the customer for Sales area. Which IDOC type can be used for this? Is it DEBMAS01 or? How can we do it?

Thanks, Praveen

Hi,

Segment E1KNVVM is also present in DEBMAS01. With this issue is while processing the IDOC it's using tcode XD01 or XD02 which also overwrites General and Company Code data. I am looking for a solution wherein only Sales area data is created and general/comp code data are not touched. Any ideas?

Thanks, Praveen

Hi,

We have kinda same situation.

So we have existing customers and we have to open new sales areas to those customers and update with the correct sales area data.

There are quite a lot of these customers and we get the information from client in excel sheets.

Therefore I'm going with LSMW conversion.

I thought of using the Idoc DEBMAS06.

Now my question is, that can I update ONLY the sales area data (KNVV) to the existing customer with LSMW-conversion, which uses direct DEBMAS06 idoc? (The easisest way to MAKE the conversion would be recording, but it's a bit unstable with these kinda mass)

I tried by filling only the customer number and account type from the header segment, but the idoc goes to error and starts to complain of missing address data etc obligatory data in the General Information area..

Do you have any solution to this, I'd appreciate it!

Best Regards,

Toni
