    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;You can use a Timer for refreshing the screen contents.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Class name: CL_GUI_TIMER&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You can set the timer for 3 seconds and an event will be triggered, in which you can handle the new selection from Z* table and update that in screen.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;An example for doing the same in a ALV is shown below.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="http://sample-code-abap.blogspot.in/2010/12/auto-refresh-alv-list-clguitimer.html"&gt;http://sample-code-abap.blogspot.in/2010/12/auto-refresh-alv-list-clguitimer.html&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Shambu&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <title>refresh value on the screen in dialog programming</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hello all,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have a dialog screen and i have some output values on this screen. I take these values from a Z* table.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I want to check Z* table if the values are changed and i want to refresh my screen in every 2-3 seconds with new values.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;And i want the other functions are still usable on the screen during this control.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I tried starting new task, but it doesnt allow importing so i couldnt figure out how to hande it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks in advance.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
