Hello Rashi,

I want to configure username and password so that it will not ask for user credentials while consuming it

You can maintain this configuration in SICF(T-Code). Search the Webservice in the HTTP service hierarchy, standard path looks like: /default_host/sap/bc/srt/rfc/sap/<service name>. Once you locate the path you can maintain the data in the "Logon data" tab.

I understand you've created a webservice binding it to a RFC, so SAP acts as the Webservice provider. What do you mean by "consuming" the webservice then?

BR,

Suhas

Hi Suhas,

Thanks for your reply. I forgot to mention that I have already maintained logon data in SICF. But i still get popup for login details. Tried with all logon procedures but it din't work. Let me know if there is anything else i am missing.

By saying created binding i meant created endpoint in SOAMANAGER. Consuming web service means calling web service through java or some other language. I have tried with basic authentication in saomanager, that also gives me dump and does not allow me to save user credentials.

Thanks & Regards,

Rashi
