Hi Glen,

Below are the steps done on our end:

1. In BD61, "Activate change pointers generally".

2. In BD60, created new entry for IORDER with the following information:

          - FM = IDOC_OUTPUT_ORDER

          - Ref. Msg. = IORDER

3. In BD52, assigned the following change docs to IORDER01:

     ORDER AUFK AUFNR

     ORDER AUFK KTEXT

4. In BD64, created new distribution model for IORDER message type.

Then when we created/changed data in IW31/IW32. No IDoc is created, but change docs are logged when the PM Order is checked.

Is there any missing steps we've done?

Thanks!

It is going to be implemented in our system and one of my colleagues cannot seem to make it work. I would like to ask for step by step procedure to help activating the IDoc.

Thanks!

It would be easier for others to help fill in the gaps in your procedure than to list out the whole thing.

Having said that... have you seen this document? It might help.

Regards

Glen

I am now able to create change pointers.. My next question is, is there any standard FM to create IDoc from change pointers? Example, COSMAS has MASTERIDOC_CREATE_SMD_COSMAS, but I didn't found any for IORDER.

Thanks!

Hi Eo

I'm glad to hear you are now able to create change pointers.

I'm almost certain that there is not a standard FM to create IORDER IDocs from change pointers but it should not be too difficult build one yourself. You will just need to read the change pointers, read the data for the Orders, call IDOC_OUTPUT_IORDER and then mark the change pointers as processed.

As an alternative to reading the data and calling IDOC_OUTPUT_IORDER yourself you could *potentially* call program IREAD_SM_PM_ORDERS within your FM but this program is not a "released API" so you should understand the risks and test thoroughly if you plan to do this.

Kind Regards

Glen
