Dump While running Transaction V.OO

Hi Experts,

I am running the Transaction V.OO. But i am facing Dump.

Time limit exceeded.

The program "SAPLV05T" has exceeded the maximum permitted runtime without

interruption and has therefore been terminated.

If the error occures in a non-modified SAP program, you may be able to

find an interim solution in an SAP Note.

If you have access to SAP Notes, carry out a search with the following

keywords:

"TIME_OUT" " "

"SAPLV05T" or "LV05TFDL"

"VBUK_SELECT"

Kindly Sort my issue, If any necessary Notes.

Hi there,

Timeout dumps can occur if the amount of data to be selected is very large. How do you execute the transaction ? Try adding some more selection criteria in order to reduce the amount of data requested or increase the timeout parameter in your system profile.

I don't have access to oss at the moment to see if there are any notes referring to your problem.

Search with the keywords proposed and timeout.

But, as mentioned, I believe that probably , you are executing the transaction without restricting the data too much. By default SAP has a 300 seconds timeout and in general the dump is being raised in 600 seconds. Search notes but before that, make sure that the data restriction in the report is good and enough.

I am executing by giving the User Name in Created by Field. 2 days back when i executed, it gives the dump. But today, its given the list. No dump occurs. But we cant get this conclusion that we avoid dump. In future it may raise again. For future purpose, I am searching to give exact solution so that we can avoid from dump.

If you find any notes, please update, mean while i will find to get some notes and will post.

Probably, 2 days back many documents where incomplete so the timeout occurred.

In any case, can you fill also sales org ? If you have 1 or 2 sales org. it will be helpful.Also, try to filter out by SD transaction.

Also, can you please trace where the form VBUK_SELECT is called ? In out system, form vbuk_select is used in FM's RV_SALES_DOCUMENT_VIEW_3 & RV_SALES_DOCUMENT_VIEW_2 but i could not find a call to these function in v.00. Maybe a exit or something else is causing the problem ?
