Call another report with internal table

Hello Everyone,

I am facing one strange situation.

From my report say A, i want to call another report say B.

From report A, i have internal table itab.

I want to send the contents of this internal table itab to report B.

Please let me know how i will get the contents of internal table itab in report B.

Hi !

What you can do is the following.

You can put your internal table into the "ABAP-Memory" using the command Export...TO MEMORY (See help on the EXPORT command).

Then, in your other report, you can do an IMPORT....FROM MEMORY (See help on the IMPORT command).

That will work fine...

Hi,

1. EXPORT the ITAB and IMPORT it in the second program.

2. If its a part of the selection screen, then you can as well pass that via SUBMIT statement.

Hi tarun,

1. Simple.

2. Program A : ZAM_TEMP00

Program B : ZAM_Temp0

3. Program A will call B

(In B we will get the contents

of ITAB present in program A)

*----

ZAM_TEMP00

report abc.

data : itab like table of t001 with header line.

select * from t001 into table itab.

export itab to memory id 'ITAB'.

submit zam_temp0 and return.

*----

ZAM_TEMP0

report abc.

data : itab like table of t001 with header line.

import itab from memory id 'ITAB'.

break-point.

Hi Tarun.

In the first report

Data : begin of itab occurs 0,

end of itab.

IMPORT itab[] TO MEMORY ID 'PAR'.

Second report

Data : begin of itab occurs 0,

end of itab.

EXPORT itab[] FROM MEMORY ID 'PAR'.

Hi Tarun,

If you want to build the report B from the contents of ITAB in report A, you can use the following statement in

ABAP.

INSERT REPORT 'B' FROM itab.

Try this

ZREPRTA.

Data: itab type standard table of VBAK initial size 0.

...
...

submit ZreportB via selection screen 
                and return
