Material configurable - KZKFG

I created a material using the BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA. But I am not able to make that material configurable. I searched online found a function module MARA_KZKFG. But am not sure how to use it. Is there any other way to fill it?

The system has no such FM.

The oss note describes how to create the FM in order to be able to create variant configuration. But you will need s id in order to see it and implement it. In which version are you ?

MATERIAL_SAVE_CONFIGURATION creates material variants and you can maintain the configuration via that, If you are looking for maintaining the indicator material is configurable, then

It is not possible to create with BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA. This feature is not available in the existing eleases, and there is no plans to have this feature added.

You can see in function module MAP2I_BAPI_MARA_TO_MARA_UEB, the CM_RELEVANCE_FLAG is moved to MARA-CMREL, not to MARA-KZKFG.
