Create standard routine VOFM

Hi,

I'm trying to apply the sap note 1713458. In the Manual Pre-Implement steps of this note say:

Before the automatic correction instruction:

1. Call transaction VOFM.

2. Choose the menu item Formulas > Condition Value.

3. Create new entry as follows.

Routine number: 342

Description: BR:Set mini.step no.

Application: <leave empty>

4. Create new entry as follows.

Routine number: 343

Description: BR:Chck mini.step no

Application: <leave empty>

when i try to do this, I receive this message:

You do not have the authorization to create SAP standard routines

Message no. VC560

Diagnosis

In the SAP Standard System, the name ranges for routines are protected.

System Response

In the standard system, you can only display routines, you cannot change them. Also, you cannot create new routines in the standard name range, which is defined from 1 to 599.

Procedure

Contact your consultant.

someone has gone through this? have any idea to solve that?

System Response

In the standard system, you can only display routines, you cannot change them. Also, you cannot create new routines in the standard name range, which is defined from 1 to 599.

it is is simple.You just create with other number which is not in standard ex 900 etc..This will solve the issue.Get the key from the market place and start your code in the routine.Check this and post if there is any issue.

Thanks, Vadlamani, but i need to create a standard routine, not a custom routine. if i dont create this way, a get a error on apply a automatic correction struction at snote transaction.

Do you know a way to create a standard routine?

Hi there,

Try changing the system change option from transaction se06. Ask an system administrator to do this. I think that you will able then to create the routine.

VOFM Routines which we create are referred as Customised Routines and can be defined in the range 600-999.But seeing the documentation that you have given for the said NOTE I am surprised to know that we can even create Standard Routines ( ? ).More or less you are trying to IMPLEMENT a NOTES which creates a Standard Routine and as long as you have Developer Access you should not be having a problem in working with VOFM.Only Customised Routines in the range 600-999 needs to be registered with SAP using SCCR key.

It will be helpful to the fellow community members like me if you can let us know why and how you implemented this NOTES.

I do just like Laurent Fournier say, I asked the Basis Team to change the system change option from transaction se06.

I implemented this note because its one of prerequisites to implement the notes specified in SAP Note 1675010 - Overview SAP Notes PIS/COF Rates w/ 4 Dec. Places in MM/SD.

This note is valid only Brazil.

I Solved the problem doing what Laurent Fournier said.

HI Laurent, it seems that you gave the correct answer, but tell me, im not that experienced with basis objects, do you know what are the component that should be set to modifiable?

Dears,

Please take into account that formulas 342 and 343 are only delivered by SAP, so it is not possible to change them. That said, note 1792089 was created to eliminate this issue. In that way, you will be able to implement note 1713458 by using another formula (range 900 tp 999 for example). If you upgrade to a SP that already contains note 1713458, formulas 342 and 343 will be used.

Hello,

today we came across the exactly same problem when installing this note. Our workaround worked fine, so I will share it here.

The workaround consists in:

1- Insert the value (342, for instance) but do not press enter.

2- Enter in debug mode (using /h).

3- Press enter.

4- Go to Breakpoints -> breakpoint at -> breakpoint at statement.

5- set: MESSAGE as ABAP cmnds.

6- press continue (F8)

7- You will see that the program will stop in message i560 and will exit. All you have to do (little hack here) is to change the value of the sap_standard varriable. To do this, put a breakpoint in the line where you can see:

if ( sap_standard <> charx and sap_standard <> charxk )

start again the debugger and change the value of sap_standard to 'X'. You will skip the if clause and the program will continue normally, inserting correctly your value 342/343.

I know it is not a very clean way, but it worked fine. Hope it helps others as well.
