Syntax error in SAPLMMDV Screen 0010

Hello,

When I activate a screen in Function Group MMDV, I get a syntax error that says, "Input/output field "MEGUI_MASSCH_ALLOWED_FIELDS-EVERS" not defined". The field is different in our development system but it is a field in the same structure.

When I enter through this message, I get the following message: "

Element MEGUI_MASSCH_ALLOWED_FIELDS-EV exceeds the maintenance area (0/0) of the screen".

This problem is also causing an issue with the Fast Change functionality in ME21N / ME22N (PO create and change). I think fixing the screen issue will solve the Fast Change issue and since it is happening in a SAP Function group, I'm guessing it is a known issue and there is a fix for it.

Hi Chris,

The structure is directly related to the Fast change issue.

Is this MEGUI_MASSCH_ALLOWED_FIELDS activated?

Did anyone add some fields to this structure and left it inactive?

Also, check this note. Note 356628 - ME21N Fast change customer-defined fields displayed

The fields in this table had been changed to display length of 15 after we upgraded and they had been 20. I had opened an OSS message and they checked our system and found it that way. The change to the table had not been communicated in the Release Notes for our new upgraded system.
