error while updating mbew

Dear all

I have successfully updated standard price of the table MBEW by using BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA' but i tries to update moving avg price , im getting msg

H MK 102 Trying to create: 1100001 ____ ____ MUPS __________ ____ __ ___ ___

S MG 160 The material cannot be maintained since no maintainable data transferred

H MK 103 Trying to change: 1100001 ____ ____ MUPS __________ ____ __ ___ ___

S M3 810 No changes made

how to rectify this .

i have checked all fields but its not working but for standard price its working successfullly ,,my doubt is can we update moving avg price ,,

Moving average price

A price that changes in consequence of goods movements and the entry of invoices, and which is used to valuate a material.

The moving average price is calculated by dividing the value of the material by the quantity of material in stock. It is automatically recalculated by the system after each goods movement or invoice entry.

maybe you should try it first manually with MMAM and MR21 to learn more about the problems.

you cannot change anymore the price with MM02 once the material was used. Be careful when changing material types.
