Lock standard PIR screen based upon Data Selected

I have a requirement to stop the editing of certain PIR records if they have been created by an external source so that any changes are manitained in the External system.

The PIR transaction is ME12 and ideally i should be able to redirect to ME13 if a certain field has a certain characteristic - as yet to be determined. i have looked for a BAdi or userexit but can't seem to find anything that could assist me in this.

We have a SAP Sourcing system which will trigger the INFREC iDoc. then any subsequent change should be managed in the external system.

we are unable to restrict by transaction as other lines of business have a legtitmate use for this. it is only specific PIRs we need to block. we will allow the MASS transaction to continue working, however this is limited to very few people.

Can anyone suggest a potential way of doing this?

There are some authorization objects on PIR with activity

- M_EINF_EKG Purchasing Group in Purchasing Info Record

- M_EINF_EKO Purchasing Organization in Purchasing Info Record

- M_EINF_WRK Plant in Purchasing Info Record

Removing change activity authorization for some users/roles may solve your problem, but if your criteria are not those of any authorization object you could look via where-used in SAP code for steps/points where SAP executes those checks (*), and using implicit enhancement you could add your code, or even your own authority-checks.

(*) If you are lucky you found a BAdI or explicit enhancement to use in the "vicinity" of those checks.
