Hi Experts

I am trying to allocate a function module in transaction BD67 to Inbound IDOC process code. The function module is intended to read an inbound IDOC and write entries in a table. While saving I get the above error*

I guess the application object in this case is the table itself?

If not where do I create it and where do I assign it to the function module?

Thanks in advance

Anton

*

Message no. B1405

Diagnosis

The application object type '' is not permissible for the input function module : Module name:

Procedure

The allowed application object type must be allocated to the function module. This allocation is made together with the allocation of the function module to the message types and intermediate document types that can be processed in this function module.

Hello Anton,

Did you maintain any entry for this FM in WE57?

Personally i prefer using the area menu WEDI for the purpose of ALE-EDI developements. The transactions are maintained in sequence & good thing is you don't need to remember any transaction

Cheers,

Suhas
