Bapi/ function module to get views of material based on plants

Hi everyone,

The problem I am facing is explained below:

I want a function module/ Bapi which will give me VIEWS a material is extended to based on plant/ storage location.

For instance:

I have extended a material to certain plants & sales org and want to know, which views are assigned to which plant in a material.

Is there any way to get this?

All main tables of a materail (i.e. MARA, MARC, MARD have fields called PSTAT ) If you do a f1 on this field then you will get the documentation below.

Which user departments may maintain a material master record of a particular material type
Which user departments have already maintained the material master record at a particular hierarchy level
The overall maintenance status is made up of the individual maintenance statuses. The individual maintenance statuses have the following meaning:User department Maintenance status

What is means that for a material for which only basic data and classification is maintained you have MARA-PSTAT = KC (K=basic data, C= CLASSIFICATION.

Another exmaple

for a material

MARA-PSTAT = KDEALBVP( Basic + mrp + purchasing + scheduling + storage + account + sales + forcasting veiew is maintained for some plant / storage location)

For one plant of the same material

MARC-PSTAT = DEALBVP ( mrp + purchasing + scheduling + storage + account + sales + forcasting)

For same material and plant for one storage location has the following valud

MARD-PSTAT (DL mrp + Storage )

Different plant and storage location may have differen views maitained and may have different pstat. Note : the sequence of character can't be determined and you need to write the logic reading each character of material. I think there should be some FM for this but not sure. I can only tell you the logic

Have a look at table MARD. It gives which material is extended to which plant and storage location.

Hi Everyone,

I am also facing the same problem, i am creating Odata services and i need BAPI to get material details based on plants and storage location.

I am unable to find the BAPI/FM, could you please let us know the standard BAPI to get material.
