Problem while adding new function module (method) to existing web service.

Hi Experts,

First of all, I was not able to find a proper forum to post this question, so posted the question here. Moderators, please move this thread to correct forum.

coming to the question.

In one of the scenarios, we have added one more function module to a existing web service. We have updated the web services and activated as well.

When the .Net team is trying to call the newly created function module( or in .net verbiage, method), they are getting

"SRT: Authorization denied " . Please note that while calling this newly created method, they are using the same user id and password that is being used to call the other methods. The other methods are responding well but this newly created method is giving this error.

Do we have to do some extra settings for authorization or should we contact the security team for this? Please note that we have tried this by even creating a new end point.

Hi Kunal,

Have you checked that new method is visible in Service definition in SE80.
