What exactly do you mean by "message"? The first reply is correct if you meant "output type". Otherwise please clarify.

I have 5 output messages in delivery and a routine assigned to them. I want to know, when i'm in debug in the routine what is the current output message? In what table/structure is the ouput?

I want to add a test like this: if the current message is X do something

Thanks.

Hi,

check wether below system variables et populated.. when any messages are triggered, this gets populated.

MSGID

MSGTY

MSGNO

MSGV1

MSGV2

MSGV3

MSGV4

Also, if you know the condition at which the message gets triggered, then why do you want to go for checking messages,... put a check for the condition and proceed from there..

Thanks

Sam
