FM POSTING_INTERFACE_DOCUMENT for FB01 posting

Hi,

I am using this FM POSTING_INTERFACE_DOCUMENT for FB01 posting. This FM creates batch input session for FB01.

I am passing the withholding tax code (ACWT_ITEM-WT_WITHCD) and Withholding Tax amount (ACWT_ITEM-WT_QSSHB) data for posting.But FM is not populating withholding Tax amount in the required screen whereas it is populating withholding tax code correctly in screen.

As a solution, I called the FB02 screen after this FM in code to populate withholding tax amount. But problem is that, this 'Call Transaction FB02' also trigger the other Idocs.

Please suggest me the solution.

Shirish can you be more clear?

But FM is not populating withholding Tax amount in the required screen whereas it is populating withholding tax code correctly in screen.

What does this mean?

Can you provide screen shots if possible???

Is it not possible for you to use BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST to get rid of all screen reated isuues.

Hi,

If you want to post a Vendor Invoice with With-holding tax, then that Vendor must be subjected to With-holding tax.

Follow the below approch to troubleshoot this issue.

->Check whether the with-holding tax lines are maintained in the Vendor master.

->Try to post the invoice manually and make sure that the withholding tax amt is populated correctly. If WH tax amount is not populated, that means there is something wrong with the configuration.

Hi,

I got the answer for populating Withholding Tax data in FB01 using the same FM POSTING_INTERFACE_DOCUMENT. As i found that withholding tax issue is common in most of the discussion, i think the below logic will be very helpful for this issue.

Actually, for withholding tax code, we were sending the field ACWT_ITEM-WT_WITHCD (after pressing F1 in the field Withholding tax code, we were finding this structure field as a technical name). Where as the function module 'POSTING_INTERFACE_DOCUMENT'creates this field programmatically based on the condition. We had to pass the structure field WITH_ITEM-WITHT (it contains the Withholding Tax code) instead of ACWT_ITEM-WT_WITHCD as first line item.

First it is searching the structure field WITH_ITEM-WITHT as a first line item. if it fails withholding tax base amount was not recorded for FB01.

And in second line item we have to pass ACWT_ITEM-WT_WITHCD which contains the Withholding Tax Base Amount.

I hope now it will help for mast of the Withholding tax issues.
