Problem in call standard report using (submit and return)

Dear Experts,

I have to pass parameters into standard program's selection screen using submit and return (without via selection screen).

Submit and Return works ok(filling all required calling program's selection screen) when I call to z-report but fails to pass the parameters/selection-screen when call to standard report and retrun complete list of output.

In case of Submit via selection Screen and retrun...... its work ok in both case(z-report and standard report).

Ex:

1). not filling values into calling standard program's selection-screen.

parameters: mat like mara-matnr.

submit standard_program with matnr = mat

and return. </code>

2). working ok.

parameters: mat like mara-matnr.

submit standard_prg with matnr = mat

via selection screen

and return. </code>

please suggest me right way to call and fill selection screen of standard program.

Which Standard report are you submitting? Can you please put the exact code which you are using for the submit statement?

I am submitting prg: RMMVRZ00 into submit statement.

And in this case I need to pass only material code and the material code value should be the same value which I have passed in current program parameters.

Ex:

report call_standard_program.

parameters: mat like mara-matnr.

submit RMMVRZ00 with matnr = mat

and retrun.

DATA: rspar TYPE TABLE OF rsparams,
      wa_rspar LIKE LINE OF rspar.

PARAMETERS p_matnr TYPE matnr.

      wa_rspar-selname = 'MS_MATNR'. wa_rspar-kind = 'S'.
      wa_rspar-sign = 'I'. wa_rspar-option = 'BT'.
      wa_rspar-low = p_matnr.
      APPEND wa_rspar TO rspar.

SUBMIT RMMVRZ00 VIA SELECTION-SCREEN
                      WITH SELECTION-TABLE rspar
                      AND RETURN.

Try the below code

submit RMMVRZ00 with MS_MATNR = mat

and return.

The parameter name in the called report is MS_MATNR and not MATNR (press F1 and technical info on the field) I suppose that :
- When you display SELECTION-SCREEN the correct value comes from the curent value of PARAMETER ID 'MAT'
- When you bypass SELECTION-SCREEN the value is not transmitted.
