PLM- Version change in document structure in transaction code CV12

Dear Experts,

I have a situation unresolved where after creating a new version for a document no in CV01N tcode, If I have a document structure in tcode CV12 the version is to be updated to the new one and the parent and child relationship does not change for that structure.

Any BADI/EXIT/Function modules or any suggestions to resolve this issue?

The problem is always the version in CV12 is the first version created.

Please let me know how to proceed for the change.
