Problem with Idoc posting

Dear Experts,

We are facing issues with posting of Idoc type BLAORD. A single Idoc has around 90000 segments. Unfortunately, the posting is timing out. Is there any way we can post the Idoc in background? Do we need to make any changes in partner profile for that?

You can schedule a job for the IDOC using the program RBDAPP01. You need to select the option "Trigger by Background program"

Hi Sandeep,

It seems that you have post it on background only, because this is a large volume of data and this IDOC generally uses a BDC at the end to update database, so that might be causing the error.

Also you can try out some filters so some unwanted data will be blocked, or even a IDOC reduction technique can be used if applicable.
