i want to write an abap code for a ebanking form where i got the places where i have to create a logic for entering phone no. and bank account no. where in both the places customer has fixed number of places.

Please be clear with your question...

As far as my understanding, you are struggling to fix the lenght of some input fields.

If you are using simple abap report, then you can declare a parameter of type data element which is having the required number of characters, then the input field will be restricted to number of characters defined in the dataelement.

Here is an example

parameters:
            p_acct         type /BEV3/CHBANKN.

Here the output lenght of data element /BEV3/CHBANKN is 18 characters, so user cannot exceed 18 characters while feeding data.
