Difference between table PLKO and PLKZ

Hi Team,

I am having two tables related to PP.

PLKO- Task list - header

PLKZ- Task list: main header.

What is the difference between these two tables?

In the above two fields i have one field called "DELKZ- Indicator: Delete completely in reorganization run". How the entry for the field "DELKZ" in table PLKZ will be maintained?

If the deletion flag is maintained for the field "DELKZ" in the table PLKO, will the deletion flag be automatically set in the table PLKZ?

PLKO and PLKZ tables are used in time of  Production Order.

Hi,

I know these two table are used while creating PP production orders.

Both the tables displays the task list header informations.

What is the key difference between these two tables? since both these two tables display the task list header informations, why we need two tables? only one table is enough know? Even in table PLKZ we do not have the field 'WERKS-Plant".

I guess difference is with the internal counter filed which may be used as activity posting identifer in PLKO
