User exit only for One Function module and not others

Hai guys,

I want to Implement an enhacement.

I created project in cmod and gave the enhancement.

but one Function module is already enhanced.

I dont wnat to include that in my enhancement.

I want to enhance another FM and take it to quality.

I wish you a happy new year.Suppose if there are two fms exist in one enhancement in you already implemented in one fm as i know you can not implement the second one with another fm.if you do not want the first one then comment the code and used the second fm in the same project.

Firstly, a very happy new year to you!

By enhancing another user exit function you are not carrying the previous user exit that is already there - unless the previous project is not transported yet and you are forced to create a transport task withing a previous transport request. If the previous project is already transported to production, then you know it is already there in production and you are not carrying those changes in your project.

If the earlier user exit is meddling with what you are trying to achieve through the second user exit, then of course you may want to put appropriate clauses in the earlier user exit so that it only applies in other scenarios.

check the Zinclude (of the one which you dont want to include). with quality server/ or Production.

if it is in sync, that means you should not avoid that one as well.

rather Find the project which implemented that one and use that project it self to activate your required exit.

if the old Zinclude is not in sync with QA/Prod, then just take out the code from it, and in your project, deactivate that FM.

the already enhanced FM doesnt have any Project.

When i enhanced my FM it allowed to create a new Project.

Now,the old FM is not existing in one quality system.(q2)(It exsists in anoter qaulity,q1,.

i just want my new code in q2.

Can i plainly transport my project+newly enhanced Fm only to q2.

strange situation now..

have to make sure future trasnports dont create any problem in any system
