reg: smartforms printing parameters not working

Hi gurus ,

need a little verification and guidance on smartforms printing options :i m new to thi sap concept also searched forum bt didnot find any specific reolution

following is the scenario ::

i have passed the control parameters to the smartforms function module as :

control_parameters-no_dialog = 'X'

control_parameters-preview = 'X'

control_parameters-device = 'PRINTER'

output_options-tddest = 'printer name'

called fm_name

exporting

control parameters = control_parameters

output options = output_options

field1

exceptions

in the user settings~~>own data~~> default settings--> output device has not been mentioned

now the requirement is to check the printpreview of the forms in foreground but pop-up shouldnot display.

Although i have passed the above data , still as sson as the driver program executes it shows the pop-u[ to eneter print parameters. One thingh : i have not included USER_SETTINGS in the smartforms function module:: is taht the reason why its not working as expected ???

Any info is helpful..

Dear Tisha,

Try using the Device name (TDDEST) in the parameter output_options (Structure SSFCOMPOP).

You can pass the printer name (eg: LOCL).

Hi Tisha,

Please confirm if the device name (printer name) has already been entered & configured?

If yes, then r u still getting any warning / error?
