alv dumps while converting in excel sheet

Dear Gurus,

i have problem in alv, i have made an alv report, the output of my report is coming smoothly, but it gives a message

" multiple lines are only supported for printing and in print view"(msg no:0k063).

while converting it into excel sheet or while using sum function , my program dumps and leads to

message " runtime error :getwa_not_assigned".

current abap program "SAPLKKBL" terminated coz it has come across a statement that unfortunately cannot

executed.

please help me.

Hi,

Hard to help without a bit of code but your dump is probably due to a field symbol not yet assigned when using it...

Hi,

For below issue

The dump with error "getwa_not_assigned" comes because of several reasons.

Please see in debug mode what's happening. This may be cause of field symbol.

have u used field symbol somewhere?

there might be problem with the fields in fieldcatalogue and actual data table.

Hi,

Please check the number of fields in the field catalogue and that in the output table. This error will occur, when the number of fields are different in both.
