Hello all,

I would like to SQL trace one particular table. So I would like to see all SQL statements which handles the one table. But I would like to see also the commit work. So I use ST05 where I activate trace with filter. In the restriction I set * in the user name and in the table names I put my table. But in the trace there is no commit woek visible. I also tried the * in the table names of the filter, but the commit work was also not in the trace file. Do you have any idea how to see the commit in the trace?

Kind regards

Radim

Hello Radim,

tricky, but possible

1. Create on a desktop a SAPLogon shortcut with system command "/h" - debugging.

2. Open ST05.

3. Click "Set trace with filter".

4. Drag-and-drop shortcut to the SAPLogon window.

5. Debug mode switches on.

6. Enter your table and click Green confim button. Debug window will open.

7. Jump over the module SET_0020 to the LOOP.

17 MODULE SET_0020.

18 LOOP.

19 FIELD: SQLTFILTER-TABN_INC.

20 MODULE SET_0020_TAB_INC.

21 ENDLOOP.

8. Go thru the loop until you see SQLTFILTER-TABN_INC populated with your table.

9. Open this internal table in gebugger and add a new line with empty table.

10. Continue and make your trace. Now you'll see your table in tarce AND commits.

Cheers,

  Yuri

Thank you Yuri for the suggestion. In meanwhile I found out solution without debugging. It is about to include table ' *'. It is space and asterisk.

Kind regards

Radim
