Connect Vendor FTP from R3 system using ABAP Code

Hi, Expert,

Could you explain the process to connect vendor FTP and send a file to vendor FTP.We have user and password for Vendor FTP.

Given thread does not solved my problem. Could you please give some steps that I need to ask Basis team if required and also explain some ABAP steps also as File transfer to Vendoe FTP server will be done from R3 using ABAP code.
