SAPGUI recording through an ABAP program

Hi experts,

Can somebody explain how SAPGUI recording can be invoked through ABAP Program. Suppose if I want to record MM01 transaction I need to trigger it through an ABAP program and the recorded data should be downloaded in the form of a file.

In short, the program should work similarly as the sapgui recording.

Hi Sandeep,

ABAP Program can upload data by

+ BDC: uploading by simulate the input to SAP screens. If SAP screen are reconfigured for some reasons, BDC programs might need re-written.

+ BAPI: call BAPI* function modules. This technique solves the above issue.

Can you tell me which information you want to get? There are some work around solutions for retrieving SAP data.
