Ok, we just upgraded to SAP_BASIS 702 and the ABAP Debugger has changed. Now you get a split screen top and bottom instead of left and right and your variable display in on the bottom and your code is at the top. Each display has its own tools. Is there a way to change the display back to the old style?

Hi,

In the debugger available in 702 release, you will be able to see the three desktops.

One way to see the old way of desktop is to select Desktop 3 view.

You have an option to change the layout and save in the debugger session.

You can see the icons <-> inside a square symbol at right side of the debugger screen, If you have

variable window at right side.

You can see the icons with arrows pointing up and down inside square box. If you press the button present on the

right side of debugger it will bring the layout with variables at right side and code at left side pane as the

debugger looks in release 701.

Once you save the layout with the desired settings by pressing the layout button present in the menu bar on the top it will reappear as the way you set it last time.

<< Moderator message - Point begging removed >>

Regards,

Joseph M

Edited by: Dranzer on Oct 15, 2011 1:43 AM

Edited by: Rob Burbank on Oct 14, 2011 4:59 PM
