Fix output field - Query

Hello,

how can i fix the value of a key field in a query (the field is in the list fields and not in the selection fields)?

For example, about the table EINE I need to show only the records related to a specific division (WERKS='ZZZZ').

You can Acheive this using 2 methods.

1) Using SQ01 execute your Query and default/fix the values to selection screen parameters and then save a variant. Now assign this Variant as Standard Variant to your Query.

2) You can use the tool "Infoset Query" in SQ01 where you will be able to select the fields which can be used as selections using the checkbox for the column "Selection". The moment you set a field as Selection you will see the field on the right hand side where you can default some values and save the infoset. Now this will make sure that whenever you run the query these values are defaulted.

i've used these solutions. But i want that the users can't change a specific field in the selection. At the moment the only solution is at authorization level.

i've tried with a specific field in the infoset or with user authorization when i'll create a specific transaction.
