Problem with refreshing alv on screen

Hi Experts,

I have developed a report which works as below

I have created a function module which calls a screen, this screen has an ALv grid of class CL_GUI_ALV_GRID.

The ALV has one column (reason) which is an editable F4 help.

The first time i run this Function module, i am able to select the reason from the F4 help and the selected reason is displayed on the screen. Everything works fine.

However if i run this function module again without actually refreshing the transaction se37 again, it again shows the screen, with the alv and f4 help, however this time even though i select values from f4 help, the new values do not get displayed on the screen, it shows the earlier values.

If i run this Function module again by going back to the main transaction se37, it works fine. I have tried refresh table method of the ALV Grid, however it hasnt helped anything. May be it could something related to refreshing the memory, however i cannot understand what exactly is wrong with this. I have also cleared all the variables and tables in the FM, The reason this is so important to me is because this Function module would be triggered through CIC and hence this scenario would occur again and again.

Not sure this is an issue... Have you tried to test the FM from a Z program instead of SE37?
