      <title>Copying Production Data into Development.</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;There are some FI postings that have been done via transaction F-42 for the month of September 2011 in Production system.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My client requires a copy of those entries posted from production to development server.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;They are not ready for a Client-copy at any cost due to space constraints.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is then any other solution via which I can transfer the entries from Production to development server ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Danish.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;A very big gun is the SAP add-on product TDMS (test data migration server), which allows transfer of reduced data between production and other systems. If you are regularily facing issues like this, it might be worth a look (search for additional information on SCN and the SAP marketplace).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Otherwise you would have re-post the documents in development e.g. using a download from production and an upload via LSMW. Takes some time to build, but can be re-used as needed.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thomas&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;This is similar to migrating SAP data when integrating several existing SAP systems: If you need more than a 100 or so documents . &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The steps are: &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Extract the data you need via Query or other tool.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Load it via LSMW  into the system you want.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The challenge will be getting the master data correct as it may not be true that the data is the same.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We have found that there are hardly 12 entries in production for the month of September 2011.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Client has agreed to post the entries manually in development as it will take hardly 30 minutes to post the entries.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks Guys.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Danish.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
