BAPI_PO_RELEASE not working

Hi All,

We are using PO release bapi for releasing the PO's. It gets executed properly but the release is not effected.

BAPI_PO_RELEASE does not give any error. Is there any config that needs to be checked? because the same program works fine in another system.

Please Help on this.

You need to CALL FM 'BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT' after 'BAPI_PO_RELEASE'.

This will solve your problem.

Hi,

if you already use fm 'BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT' check messages in table RETURN.

Needed authority checked in 'BAPI_PO_RELEASE':

*- Authority-check ----------------------------------------------------*
  AUTHORITY-CHECK OBJECT 'M_EINK_FRG'
    ID 'FRGGR' FIELD ekko-frggr
    ID 'FRGCO' FIELD po_rel_code.
