BAPI to create maintenance order (IW3x) from reference

Hi Folks,

I need to create maintenance order (IW3x) in background mode from the existing (reference) order. [i.e., create new order which is copy of existing order]).

The new order should include all the information of source order. (operations, tasks, equipement, etc...)

Hi,

try FM CO_CO_ORDER_COPY. It is used in IW31 transaction when creating an order with reference.

Hi Adrian,

The FM CO_CO_ORDER_COPY cannot be used. This FM gives dump as there is no expection catched for FM CO_ZF_ORDER_READ which is called.

The FM CO_ZF_ORDER_READ raises an expection, when it checks for entry in T490 table and no entry exist.
