Also the service in concern "zbom_reqonhold_readdata" is working fine in DEV. Tested this service in SOAMANAGER and CE Service registry as well. After transporting to Quality, the associated function module is working fine. But when this service is executed in SOAMANAGER or CE Service registry it is throwing this error.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any help on this is highly appreciated.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Sumana&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hello, &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We have a topical error regarding Web services.We have created a web service&lt;DEL&gt;published&lt;/DEL&gt;-created the end points ..it is working fine.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Once u transopted to Quality we are getting  "&lt;STRONG&gt;Invalid Response content type. Server returned code (500) with message &amp;lt;Internal Server Error&amp;gt; and content type &amp;lt;text/html; charset=utf-8&amp;gt;.       <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hello Sumana,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;There might be some type mismatch in the input data you provide to the web service.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;First you confirm whether the data types of your data and data types of receiver end are same.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Try to convert the data if it is the case.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am working on similar task.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Here, I have converted the data to string format and sent it, as the receiver data type is in 'string'.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;However, this is for outbound process.(i.e., consuming web services)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

We have transported the service - Published in SE 80 - Created endpoints in SOAMANAGER. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The service in working in CE 7.2 DEV but throwing an error after transported to CE 7.2 Quality.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Check SICF that the service is activated.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Go to ST01, start an authorisation trace. Attempt to use the service, then look at the trace to check if it's an auth issue.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Check SM21 for any indication of an issue at that time.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The problems I've encountered have been the service not being activated, the role not having the service included with the correct hash entry as in USOBHASH, or other authorisation errors.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Finally, go to SMICM, and using one of the options there, up the trace level to 3. But if you get to that stage, you're really getting into networking type knowledge.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

The syntax error the service was not allowing the service to execute. Still wondering how it worked in Dev. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;However, we had recreated the service definition and transported the same to Quality and now its working.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
