Table Maintenance View Control/ restriction access

Hi All,

I've create the customised program by using FM:VIEW_MAINTENANCE_CALL to call the custom table maintenance view.

However, the system prompt the message like "client XXX has status not modifiable".

I wonder if we can ask Basis team to open the system for modifiable so that the program able to link to SM30 to maintain the table view that requires. However, they may concerning about the control access/ security on this if the system.

Can anyone advise any good practice/ approach we can do in term on controling user to maintain the particular table maintenance view that called from custom program?

Hi,

While generating the table maintenance, check the radio button "'Standard recording routine" under "Dialog Data Transport Details".

Maintain the data in this table in the development client and save it in a respective change request and transport the request to the necessary QAS or PRD systems.
