Problem when moving the Custom table to Quality

HI All

Had a requirement for creating a custom table with table maintenance generator .

The Technical settings that I have defined while creating the table are as below

Delivery Class : A , Display/Maintenance Allowed Data Class : APPL0

Enhancement Category : Can be Enahanced

Authorization group : PS and Cretated a Custom Function group

Every setting is activated and made all these settings transported under single request ..

When checking the same in quality table maintenance generator option is disabled ..

Please suggest me any solutn wih d abov prob

Please check the transport log and check again in dev. I think some transport has still not been transported.

Hi,

Check the objects in the transport request if they have the function group which you have created.

Check if you have activated the fucntion group, I mean the function pool that you have created and then only transported?

1.Check if the TR is having an entry called FUGR with function group name.

2.Do you have a ztransaction code or using SM30 to use table maintenance ?.If you have created a ztcode for table maintenace

did you mentioned the view name and update as 'X" in the default values subscreen in SE93.

3.You have the Function group in the TR but still table maintenance is disabled,then regenerate the Table maintenance in DEV and again transport it to QA

@kiran ... Have checked at TR level ..there exists an entry ..Used SM30 for table maintenance..nd regenerated to move it to QA..still its the same problem..

getting an error there is no customizing delivery class..

As described with my technical settings -- Delivery class : that have mentioned is A ..

so please suggest when transporting is that giving me any problem..any change that need to be done at that level

Were you able to maintain the table in DEV ?

Not so sure but I think ENHANCEMENT CATEGORY as "Can be Enhanced" could be causing the problem.Try changing it as "Not Classified".

Hi,

Go to SE54 and Give the table name.

Go to ENVIRONMENT ->MAINTENANCE OBJECTS ->GENERATE.

Can you elaborate what you mean by "not working"? What is the error message you're getting when you try to maintain the table via SM30?
