Hi All,

I am currently working on the screen exit. An object was already created by some body for the given exit and assigned the details in $tmp package. I worked in the same project and screen, included more fields in the screen and activated. But still the screen is showing in $tmp package. I changed the package of the project in CMOD and changed the package of all the includes and function module code as well. But still the screen is showing with $tmp package.

I followed the below steps.

1. I tried to GOTO->OBJECT DIRECTORY ENTRY. It is showing the standard package name which the main program uses.

2. I tried SE80 and morefunctions-> create request. But it was giving error message and could not sble to succeed.

Please if someone gives me right direction I will give the suitable points ASAP.

Thanks,

firstly you need to change the package in object direct entry ,so that it wil ask you for transport request.

then use the request for transporting.

Hi UMAN,

I followed the same steps that you have mentioned.

1. It is asking WHETHER THE CUSTOM PART or ALL THE PART. My question here is if I CLICK ON custom part then all the CUSTOM CHANGES WHICH ARE UNDER THE STANDARD PACKAGE will move to my new package. The standard package may have other custom changes as well which is not part of mine. In that case how can I move only my changes to the transport request.

I got good idea from your answer. now i am looking for complete idea,, plz guide me

Edited by: Karthik.ram on Jul 22, 2011 12:22 PM

No Karthik,

I dont think there will be any other objects but still what you can do is go to the any include program of your enhancement development and then checkout the main program of this include.

Now this include might be the part of the Function group or the main module pool program, most probably for enhancements it used to be a function group.

Now follow the steps for function group or the module pool program will definitly include objects in new package for your development only

Edited by: UMANGmehta on Jul 22, 2011 1:37 PM
