Can anybody give me an idea how to do this:

There's a guy name Mr. Loop.

Within Mr. Loop is Mrs. Modify.

Mrs. Modify, of course, modifies the screen.

That's all. Tee Hee.

Well, the problem is I want the screen to be modified and be displayed before re-looping.

Kind of like displaying the output while processing the code.

But it seems ABAP only displays once, after the whole program (or something) is executed.

So basically, if i have a modify screen/line within a loop,

the final screen modification within the loop is the only screen that will be displayed.

And it seems changing screens is user-command dependent.

So is an animated screen possible? I'm guessing no. But some thoughts would be awesome.

HI,

As per you logic....

Screen will keep modifying with in the loop.. so the screen modified in last iteration of loop will persist only.

And moreover , u cannot achieve animation with screen dynamicity , because screen will only be displayed once when PBO is triggered.

Thanks

Raghav M.

for changing something in a screen, you must refreshing the screen and thats it, when screen is displayed processing the code is over until next action. So i think something like your animation is very difficult.

Mrs.Modify can avail the services of Ms.Progress by calling FM SAPGUI_PROGRESS_INDICATOR which would animate the progress by changing "Percentage" and "Text".

Regards

Suresh
