Explanation property for fields in module pool

Hi All,

I have a requirement in module pool programing where in when the cursor is placed on a input/output field , some text should appear as help text similar to how it appears for a button on application toolbar in GUI status.

For eg if I place the cursor on a material number, it should display its description.

Please let me know is there any way to do it.

Hi Nagraj

SAP only provides an option to define quick info texts for screen elements with Icons and push buttons on your screen(field 'Tooltip' in screen painter attributes window). I don't think we can code that for input/ouput fields in your program . Think you could achieve it by assigning Icons to the screen elements.

SAP does not handle the mouse over event.
