BAPI_SALESORDER_SIMULATE for DEBIT memos

Is there a way to use this simulate for Debit memos when there is no inventory?

What I'm running into when using it is that it cheks inventory, and if there is no inventory it won't authorize our credit card since authorizations are only valid for 14 days but since these are debit memo's the product has already been taken.

I've passed everything it asked for but somewhere in it, it checks the availability of a product and if it doesn't see that it will be available within the next 14 days it will try to authorize $0 which won't work when it should be trying to simulate the full amount of the order.

Yes, what seems to be occurring is it's checking the scheudule line item to see if there are any in stock on xx/xx/xxxx day. If none will be available in the 14 day window it won't let it authorize the amount of the item since there is no stock.

I'm trying to get around it to not check for stock since we are creating debit memo's and stock shouldn't need to be accounted for since they have the product in hand during the order transaction to give to the customer.

If it check the stock and show what is the issue. Are you using this bapi to connect with no sap .

The issue is that it won't authorize our credit card transaction due to item being out of stock which makes the product have a $0.00 value which is not possible to charge to a credit card.

What I'm trying to accomplish is to bypass the inventory check so it thinks there is stock for the item so it's able to pass the $x.xx value of the product to the credit card to be authorized.

After looking at the documentation I'm not sure if there is a way to bypass and wonder if anyone had a idea on how to accomplish this.

I just want to be able to use this bapi to authorized the full amount the order even if there is no inventory in stock.

Found out the issue was related to the order type.
